Maranatha Baptist Seminary and Dr. Larry Oats present: To the Praise of His Glory.

God raises up special people for special missions. B.Myron and Thelma M. Cedarholm were extraordinary people whom God chose for special ministries. They served at Lehigh Avenue Baptist Church in Philadelphia, the Conservative Baptist Association of America, Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, and finally, Maranatha Baptist Bible College (now Maranatha Baptist University).

The Fiftieth Anniversary celebration of Maranatha was the occasion for the writing of this book. The Maranatha Hymn was a testimony to their lives. Based on the college’s theme verse, Ephesians 1:12, the Cedarholms sought to live “To the Praise of His Glory.”

With the Cedarholm generation nearly gone, it is time their story is told.

About the Author

Dr. Larry R. Oats has earned three master’s degrees and a PhD in Systematic Theology. As one of Maranatha Baptist University’s most distinguished alumni and frequent conference speakers for both the University and Seminary, he has been involved in Christian higher education for over 45 years. Dr. Oats has written numerous theological papers and is an authority on Baptist fundamentalism.
