Overview | Pre-Physical Therapy
If you are fascinated by the movement and function of the human body and want to make a difference in the lives of patients, the Pre-Physical Therapy program may be right for you. The Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy program prepares undergraduate students to enter a doctoral-level program in Physical Therapy. The degree includes all of the required course prerequisites necessary to be considered for acceptance into a doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program. The program provides flexibility for a variety of specific entrance requirements.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the BS in Pre-Physical Therapy program, students will
- Gain a greater appreciation for the creative power and wisdom of our creator in the design and function of the human body.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general principles in the biomedical field.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Research problems to develop expedient solutions.
- Apply science and mathematics to solve complex problems including the analysis and interpretation of data from lab experiments.
- Demonstrate behaviors required to succeed in the modern workplace including the ability to function effectively and ethically in a team environment.
