Dr. Tad Nuce

Dean, School of Education

Dr. Tad Nuce has extensive experience as school head, which included three different ACSI schools in the US, where he oversaw multi-million dollar building projects, lobbied for school choice, and created and executed strategic enrollment plans; he also served internationally in missions as head of schools in both Brazil and Mexico for another 17 years. He is a Herzog Foundation Mentor, and member of the Executive Committee of the Kansas Association of Independent and Religious Schools. His unique multicultural perspective, combined with his classroom experience and exceptional administrative skills, make him well-equipped to lead the School of Education and prepare students for educational ministry ‘to the praise of His glory.’

He says, “After 30 years in Christian ministry and education, I am thankful the Lord has led me to Maranatha to assist in developing a new generation of Christian educators. With the challenges facing the profession of education, the importance of equipping graduates with both the professional and biblical knowledge they will need to serve effectively has never been greater.”

Dr. Nuce accepted his role as Dean of the School of Education in 2024.
