Mr. Jodi Faithfull joined the MBU Science faculty in the fall of 2024 as an instructor of bioethics, biomechanics, and other exercise science courses, and to oversee the Kinesiology program’s Exercise Science practicums and internships. He has been in physical education as a teacher and coach since 2003, working with athletes at the professional, collegiate, and high school levels, and was himself an NCCAA DII athlete at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in soccer and baseball from 1999-2002. His lifelong passion for strength and conditioning led him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist for the NSCA and a Performance Enhancement Specialist for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has used his expertise in the training environment to turn athletic potential into performance, working primarily with hockey teams in Wyoming and Minnesota prior to moving to Watertown. In addition to teaching, he will also work with Maranatha’s ten intercollegiate programs as as the strength and conditioning coach. Beyond that, Jodi desires to influence students and athletes for the cause of Christ, which aligns with Maranatha’s mission to do all “To the Praise of His Glory,” and he looks forward to not only using but further developing his knowledge and skills in areas he is passionate about, in order to help the students and athletes he has the opportunity to teach and coach.
