Elaine Beary moved from Colorado to Wisconsin to join Maranatha’s English faculty in 2022. Before coming to Maranatha, she had more than twelve years of experience in Christian Education. In addition to her classroom teaching, Miss Beary also taught online English courses at another university. Angela Morris, Chair of the Department of Humanities, stated, “Her years of classroom experience have given her solid insights into classroom management, curriculum, and student interaction… She has an obvious passion for excellence as a teacher and for teaching writing. We welcome her to our English Department confident of the quality classroom experience she will provide our students.”
Miss Beary shares, “What a privilege to serve at Maranatha where I can continue to invest in students through helping them to hone their God-given gifts of communication and critical thinking skills, gifts they will apply throughout their lives in many areas of ministry.”

Campus Involvement: Elaine enjoys attending the many fine arts events on campus; substitute small group leader.
Family: Elaine treasures any time she can spend with her parents, sisters, and nephew.

Church Ministry: Elaine serves in the church nursery and the adopt-a-student program. She is also involved in a home Bible study with several church families and college students.
Other activities and interests: When not teaching, Elaine enjoys music, reading, and being outdoors.
