David Madsen

David Madsen and his family moved to Wisconsin in 2017. He has extensive experience teaching English, Bible, and Spanish at the high school and collegiate levels. He has tutored international students in both written and conversational English. Mr. Madsen currently teaches residential and online courses in English Grammar, Composition, and Literature.
“Teaching is how God has allowed me to be ‘salt and light’ in the current culture,” Mr. Madsen says. “MBU gives me the opportunity to teach from a Christian worldview.”

Recent publications: Devotionals, The Quiet Hour; wrote a chapter for the book, Glad You Asked! Answers to 12 Tough Questions about Christmas That You Need Answers For.
Community Involvement: David recently wrote and performed in the play “George Mueller: Father to Ten Thousand” presented to the Watertown Players Theatre by his church’s drama team.
Family: David and his wife Melissa have been married since 1997 and have four children.

Church Ministry: David is part of a variety of ministries at his church, including teaching Sunday School, working as a teen group sponsor, singing in the choir and a mixed quartet, participating in the church drama team, and working in the summer soccer ministry.
