Timothy Mielke
Professor
College of Arts and Sciences,
Department of Humanities
In 2009, Timothy Mielke came to Maranatha to teach photography and video classes. He was the campus photographer and photography teacher at another college for two and a half years before moving to Wisconsin. He established his own photography business in 2006 to help him remain relevant in classroom instruction. His portfolio consists of weddings, portraits, and sports photography (NFL, NCAA D1). He teaches a variety of courses in the Communication Arts field.
“Teaching people how to communicate with visuals has been a passion I have had since high school,” Mr. Mielke says. “In my field, there isn’t a lot of Christian influence or training. I love the influence I have for Christ on the next generation.”
