Mr. Steve Board was a member of the Maranatha Board of Trustees for ten years before becoming a faculty/staff member in 2012. He brings real-life experience to his business courses, having spent more than thirty years in business, including supervisory, managerial, and leadership roles.
During those years, he assisted two businesses in recovering from previous poor management, led a national construction company to increase its annual revenues by 400% in less than 10 years, and acted as lead team member of a start-up business enterprise that grew to more than 240 employees in 10 years.
In addition to teaching in the Maranatha Baptist University School of Business, he is heavily involved in the community and the development happening in downtown Watertown.
KRIS SCHOONOVER

Kris Schoonover, Ph.D., is a Professor in the School of Management at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and Director of Operations and Assistant Competition Director at Erin Hills Golf Course, where she worked with the USGA to host the 2008 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links, the 2011 U.S. Amateur, and the 2017 U.S. Open. She is currently preparing to host the 2025 U.S. Women’s Open. Kris also works closely with the National Golf Course Owners Association and the Wisconsin Golf Course Owners Association.
RICHARD KEDDINGTON
CEO, Watertown Regional Medical Center

Richard has been the CEO of Watertown Regional Medical Center in Watertown, Wisconsin since 2015. He has over twenty years of executive experience in acute care hospitals, medical group management, and long-term care. Richard is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, an MBA in health care administration from Idaho State University, and a MS in population health from Johns Hopkins. Richard and his wife Holly have five children.

Bob DeKoch has devoted his entire career to leadership, refining his own skills, and mentoring other aspiring leaders. His passion for people and for extraordinary outcomes is what drives him. Rising to senior executive roles in numerous organizations, Bob has developed and put into practice the many teachings in his books. He has over four decades of experience across major market sectors: construction services and real estate development, the pulp and paper industry, the beverage industry, and the chemical industry. He has served on boards of US organizations—for-profit and nonprofit—as well as a major international corporation. This diverse experience has helped him develop unique insight into inspired leadership. Bob is currently the founder and president of the leadership consulting firm, Limitless, LLC.

Phillip G. Clampitt (PhD, University of Kansas) is the Blair Endowed Chair of Communication at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. He was previously designated the Hendrickson Named Professor of Business. Phil has won numerous awards for his teaching and scholarship. His students started calling him “Dr. So What” because he asked, “So what?” so often, as a prod to encourage them to think about the implications of their ideas (see www.DrSoWhat.com). The Wall Street Journal and MIT Sloan Management Review highlighted his work on decision downloading, which details how companies can effectively communicate decisions to those not involved in the decision-making process. Phil has consulted on leadership, communication, and strategic planning with organizations such as Nokia, PepsiCo, The US Army War College, Schneider National, and Dental City.

DR. STEVEN LEGROW

Dr. Steven Legrow was born in Newfoundland, Canada, to a family medicine doctor father and a nurse mother, and was raised in Texas. He attended college at Centenary College of Louisiana and medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Legrow completed his residency in family medicine at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana, where he met Dr. Michael Sullivan. After practicing for two years with his father in Texas, Dr. Legrow chose to follow Dr. Sullivan to Watertown Family Practice in 2008.
He takes a straightforward approach to preventive care that keeps the patient at the center of the care process. He’s a strong advocate of vaccinations and cancer screenings and healthy diet, regular activity, and making time for mindfulness. He particularly enjoys helping patients manage chronic care challenges with a holistic, comprehensive and collaborative approach that simplifies the process for patients.
Dr. Legrow enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children, as well as reading, cross-country skiing, and running 5Ks and marathons. In 2012, he cofounded the Run Turkey Run Thanksgiving Day 5K, Watertown’s largest fitness charity event, which draws more than 1,000 participants every year and has donated more than $125,000 to local charities.
